CHOIRS FOR ADULTS

Rehearsal Wednesday Evening

CHANCEL CHOIR is open to all adults of post high school age. It meets on Wednesday evening at 7:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. This choir serves in Sunday morning worship weekly at which time they offer anthems as well as leading hymns and liturgical responses. They also lead in worship for other services during the year such as Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve. The repertoire consists largely of music of the church drawn from all periods of musical history augmented with contemporary music. Childcare is provided for rehearsal.

Handbell ChoirCHANCEL HANDBELL/CHOIRCHIME CHOIR rehearses on Wednesday evening at 6:45 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. It is open to all adults of post high school age. This choir participates in worship on a monthly basis. Repertoire supports the seasons of the church year and is varied and challenging. A good sense of rhythm is helpful for membership. An understanding of ringing techniques, musical notation and note reading will be taught. Childcare is provided for rehearsal.
