OUTREACH MINISTRIES WITHIN OUR WALLS

The following are organizations that serve the community and offer their services from within Covenant's building:


  • The Infant Care Program (ICP) 570-348-0531
    The Mission of the Infant Care Program is to provide high quality, affordable childcare and support for families with infants and toddlers. They offer quality care for infants from birth to 5 years of age. Our hours of operation are 6:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Monday through Friday.

  • Safety Net ~ 570-347-4730
    A ministry of a network of local churches to help people who other agencies cannot help. Infant and supplemental food, rent, prescriptions, eyeglasses, furniture, and moving assistance are provided if possible. This program helps people who have fallen "through the cracks."

  • The Bread Basket ~ 570-343-2324
    The interfaith network of volunteer food pantries housed in places of worship in the greater Scranton area; including Central City Scranton (Elm Park Methodist Church); West Scranton (Simpson-West Park Methodist Church); North Pocono (St. Catherine's Church); North Scranton (St Vincent DePaul); South Scranton (St John the Evangelist); Carbondale (First Presbyterian Church); Mid Valley (St Michael's)

  • Habitat for Humanity : Lackawanna County Affiliate
    Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity
