OUTREACH MINISTRIES WITHIN OUR WALLS The following are organizations that serve the community and offer their services from within Covenant's building: - Safety Net
A ministry of a network of local churches to help people who other agencies cannot help. Infant and supplemental food, rent, prescriptions, eyeglasses, furniture, and moving assistance are provided if possible. This program helps people who have fallen "through the cracks."
- The Bread Basket
The interfaith network of volunteer food pantries housed in places of worship in the greater Scranton area; including Central City Scranton (Elm Park Methodist Church); West Scranton (Simpson-West Park Methodist Church); North Pocono (St. Catherine's Church); North Scranton (St Vincent DePaul); South Scranton (St John the Evangelist); Carbondale (First Presbyterian Church); Mid Valley (St Michael's)
- Habitat for Humanity : Lackawanna County Affiliate
Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization. Since 1976, Habitat has built more than 175,000 houses, providing shelter for nearly 900,000 people worldwide. Now at work in 100 countries, we are building a house every 26 minutes. By 2005, Habitat houses will be sheltering 1 million people. Local Habitat affiliates coordinate house building and select partner families.
- The Infant Care Program (ICP)
The Mission of the Infant Care Program is to provide high quality, affordable childcare and support for families with infants and toddlers. They offer quality care for infants from 6 weeks to 3 years of age. Our hours of operation are from 6:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Monday through Friday.

| Other ... Brong Ahafo Presbytery: Support given to our sister Presbytery in Ghana for their mission and ministry. Angel Tree Gifts: Gifts given at Christmas time to members and friends of Covenant. Member Mission : In 2004 CPC helped an additional 17 non-profit groups which were recommended by members of Covenant.
