We begin with Lunch hosted by parents followed by Ice Breakers and Community Building, Real World, Real Faith Series and our Closing Prayer Circle.
Handbell and Choir practice begin on November 4, 2007 following the youth fellowship activities - finishing up by 4:00 P.M.
Real World, Real Faith
A series that will explore a monthly social issue from the perspective of the Christian faith and ask us the question - "Should we care?" and, "How does our caring as a Christian make any real difference?". Each week our program will rotate through a focus - thus each month we will have had a bible study, a speaker and/or discussion on a case study, a hands on service project, and an activity or "spiritual experience" to help apply and deepen our faith.
Our youth are active leaders in our church community. - They share their gifts as they participate and lead special worship services (Easter Sunrise and Early Christmas Eve).
- They write (or adapt), produce and star in an annual Christmas play.
- They exhibit their faithful commitment through service to others: the CROP walk, trick or treat for Unicef, Angel Tree gift shopping, Souper Bowl Sunday and much much more.
- They have fun ice skating, going to the lake, and other fun events, retreats and lock-ins.
